For families who home educate, and everyone in the school holidays

Days out, clubs and trips for every family.

Cheaper together, and we'll help get you there.

Four children with backpacks walking hand in hand down a woodland path

Roamville finds great things for children to do, near you, in London and further afield. When enough families say "I'm in", we book the group price. No car? Share a lift with another parent at cost, or take a seat in a shared licensed minibus.

The app preview is a preview only. The outings, prices and families in it are examples to show how Roamville will work. None of these trips are live or bookable yet.

Preview only. Example outings, not live trips yet. Have a tap around.

Why Roamville

There's so much going on. Getting there is the hard part.

It costs too much

£15 here, £30 there, times two or three children. Group rates exist, but you need a group to get them.

You can't get there

No car, or one car and two places to be. London might as well be the moon.

You're doing it alone

Home-ed or holidays, finding other families to learn and explore with takes time you don't have.

"I started Roamville because I lived it. As a single mum without a car, I wanted to home educate my son, but the cost and the travel made it so hard. I worried he was missing out on friends and on the great things happening all around us. Roamville is the app I wish I'd had."

Questions

Good to know

When does Roamville open?

We're starting in Hertfordshire. We'll open in each town once enough families have joined, and founding families will be the first to hear.

Is it only for home-educating families?

No. Home-ed pods and records are there for families who need them, but days out, holiday clubs and trips are for everyone, especially in the school holidays.

How do the lifts work? Are they safe?

Parents offer spare seats and share running costs only, so nobody makes a profit. Drivers confirm their licence, insurance and car seats, and parents agree pick-ups between themselves. Shared minibuses are booked with licensed firms, and children travel with a parent from the group.

What do you do with my details?

We use them only to plan where to start and to email you about Roamville. We don't sell them or share them for marketing. We never ask for children's names on this list. Every email has a link to remove yourself.
